Barefoot Roots Farm
Madison County based regenerative egg farm utilizing techniques inspired by Joel Salatin's Polyface Farm. We believe in healthy soil, healthy animals, and healthy food. We move our hens every three days to fresh pasture where they can forage on delicious grass and bugs. This technique allows for rest and regeneration of the grass, for the chickens to be more authentically 'chickeny,' and by extension, healthier and more nutritious, and tasty, food.
