Little Hat Creek Farm


We grow 50+ vegetables on an acre and a half in Nelson County, and bake sourdough breads and pastries in our wood-fired oven. We use ecological growing practices to produce nutrient-dense food that is sold directly to eaters like you. We see ourselves as part of a short regional food chain of producers all doing their small part to feed our community.

For this reason, we recognize that the success of other businesses is just as important as our own, which is why we are excited to partner with Local Food Hub, Batesville Market, and others to keep you in good food. It is also why we helped found the Common Grain Alliance, a non-profit dedicated to strengthening economic connections among grain growers, millers, and bakers in the Mid-Atlantic.
